A walking audit is an assessment of the walkability pedestrian access of an environmental. They are typically performed by walking along a stretch of street and evaluating various aspects of it (sidewalks, terrain, street quality).
The City of Augusta program focuses specifically on sidewalks in Augusta. We will use the data collected to map the sidewalks in our community and identify what areas might need to be addressed in the future. It only takes a few minutes to make a significant contribution to our community!
