April Proclaimed Fair Housing Month

Augusta, Kansas, April 2018 – Mayor Matt Childers proclaimed April as Fair Housing Month.

The proclamation promotes the Civil Rights Act of 1968 and supports equal housing opportunities for all. The City of Augusta is committed to the mission and intent of Congress to provide fair and equal housing opportunities because equal housing opportunity is a condition of life in our city that can and should be achieved.
