Public Safety
Officer
 

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid Kansas driver’s license
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, medical exam, psychological test, and drug screen
  • Not have a personal or professional history that would automatically disqualify you for this position to include any felony or some misdemeanor convictions
  • The list of required qualifications, automatic disqualifiers and the screening process is subject to change

Communications Officer, Records Clerk, and Administrative Assistant

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid Kansas driver’s license
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to pass an extensive background investigation, Post Offer Examination Test (POET), and drug screen
  • Not have a personal or professional history that would automatically disqualify you for this position to include any felony or some misdemeanor convictions
