Public Safety Divisions
Fire protection for 144 square miles of Southern Butler County. Volunteer fire unit and junior firefighters program.
Community policing, enforcement of traffic laws and city ordinances, routine patrols, medical calls, investigations.  Criminal investigations, information technology, community relations programs (including school resource officer) and special incidents.

As the Director of Public Safety it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Augusta Department of Public Safety (ADPS). We are excited to share with you our philosophy, organizational structure, facilities, function and general information.
