Police Chaplains

The Augusta Department of Public Safety (ADPS) Police Chaplain Program was revitalized in early 2004. The program consists of police chaplains from a variety of faith backgrounds. The chaplains are a vital part of the department and assist with everything from housing and money for needy individuals to assisting officers with death notifications. The chaplains share the responsibility of being on call so that a chaplain is available at all times.
