Animal Control

The City of Augusta Animal Control Officer is responsible for the primary enforcement of City of Augusta ordinances relating to animals. The Animal Control Officer works 8-hr shifts from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, out for lunch from noon to 1:00 pm, and spends their shifts patrolling the city, picking up animals at large, and investigating violations of these ordinances.  The gallery below pictures animals who were lost/found or are available for adoption.  Contact the Augusta Animal Clinic to claim your animal or be considered for adoption.
