Robert Shryock Park, Splash Pad and Play Park Point

Wichita Moms Blog called Robert Shryock Park one of its “Six Wichita Area Playgrounds Worth Going Out of Your Way to Visit.” This destination park is a royally fun time for your little kings and queens. At Play Park Pointe, kids rule over a sprawling kingdom of slides, climbing towers, cargo nets, obstacles and more. Completely refurbished in 2017 by volunteers and city employees, Play Park Pointe is a testament to Augusta’s adventurous spirit and can-do attitude.

Splash Pad - CopyAcross the parking lot, Rapunzel awaits rescue at the new fairy tale-themed splash pad open from Memorial Day in May to the second Monday in September (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Robert Shryock Park has little something for everyone that will keep your family busy for hours.

The Splash Pad will open for the 2020 season on Tuesday, June 16th.  Hours of operation are temporarily reduced to 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with plans to resume normal hours of operation later in the summer.  Stay tuned for updates.
