Municipal Swimming Pool
The municipal swimming pool is open daily for visitors to catch a break from the unrelenting heat of Kansas' summer days. The pool is ADA accessible featuring zero-depth entry. The winding slide and diving board add excitement. In addition to dedicated hours for family swim and adult swim, the pool is available to rent for parties and family gatherings. The pool has a pergola shade area, updated showers and restrooms, and vending machines. The park facility also features an outdoor basketball court, which hosts frequent pickup basketball games.
Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
- Age: All children eight years of age and under must be accompanied by someone fourteen years or older.
- Running: No running on the pool deck.
- Rough play: Profanity, obscene language, and rough play will not be tolerated.
- Diapers: Children wearing diapers must also wear plastic pants.
- Diving Board: Only one person on the diving board at a time. Only one bounce is allowed on the board. No goggles or flotation devices are allowed on the board. No flips.
- Water Slide: Ride the slide at your own risk. Must be at least 40 inches tall to use the slide. Slide must be ridden feet first lying on your back. Do not run, dive, kneel, stand, rotate, or stop on the slide. No goggles or flotation devices are allowed on the slide. No jeans are allowed.
- Punch Pass: Each visit to the pool will require one punch. If you exit the pool and then return, your pass will be punched again. Each visitor in your group requires one punch per visit. Passes are valid only for the current pool season. Unused punches do not roll over. Lost or stolen passes will not be refunded or replaced.
