Building InspectionThe City Inspector is responsible for enforcement of codes and ordinances that pertain to building and construction, health and welfare, and zoning. The City Inspector reviews building plans and permits submitted to the inspection office. The inspection office is responsible for administration and inspection of the Building, Housing, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical codes regulating construction, renovation, demolition, and occupancy of all buildings and structure.

Code EnforcementThe Code Enforcement Officer helps maintain and improve the quality of our community by enforcing the municipal codes in a fair and unbiased manner to correct violations and maintain land use requirements. The Code Enforcement Officer receives and investigates reports of violations of the City's Code of Ordinances covering public nuisances and conditions affecting public health, safety, and welfare that occurs on property within the city limits.
