Zoning Regulations

Zoning regulations help guide community planning efforts and ensure that incompatible uses do not develop next to each other, which leads to conflict between neighboring property owners.

The City’s zoning regulations control and restrict the uses of land and buildings in the community. The City’s interlocal agreement with Butler County gives extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction, extending zoning authority to land located within the designated growth area.
